The 7th Fijnwyn Food & Wine Festival will be held on 30 April & 1 May 2016 

We will create an ideal setting for families to enjoy a day where they can feast their senses on wine, food, music and the beautiful setting of Shokran.

Check out the new “Fijnwyn in Styl” tickets in an exclusive area our Fijnwyn tent with reserved tables for 10 people. This includes entrance, tasting glasses, picnic boxes, table wine and a waiter

Limited picnic baskets will be available to pre-book and various other food stalls available on the day. There will also be some live music as well as entertainment for the kids.

Because of the enormous interest we have decided to only put out a certain amount of tickets and once this is sold out there will be no tickets available at the gates, so please book your tickets well in advance to avoid disappointment.

Gates open at 10h00 and close at 18h00 and wine tasting can be done between 10h00 and 17h00.

The cost is R150 per adult per day and R50 per child per day (aged 12-18), Kids under 12 are free. If you want to join us on both days get your ticket for R200.

The entrance ticket includes a wine tasting glass with tastings at all the wine estates.

Performing Live

Tuin

Based in Pretoria, Tuin is an up-and-coming singer-songwriter currently making waves on the South African music scene and winning over new fans with each and every performance. Her unique voice and passion for music captures the essence of what music is all about, add her ability to connect with the crowd and you have an amazing artist who makes any event memorable. 

She’s joined on stage by Alouise Peens known for her versatility when it comes to Instruments and styles. Playing drums, bass, acoustic and electric guitar and the ukulele, their music madness and creativity can’t be measured but only described as unique and different. 

Janie Bay

Having performed with local acts like Jack Parow, Matthew Mole, Die Heuwels Fantasies, aKing, Francois Van Coke, Jeremy Loops and Koos Kombuis to name a few, she is steadfast on a journey to share her music with friends already made and with those along the way. 

Some recent collaborations include SA's top selling hip-hop artist Jack Parow on the chart topping song 'Veilig' and a feature on one of  Bouwer Bosch's singles, "Hardloop".
 
With the promise of a great career, Janie is more surely than slowly finding her calling in the folk-pop environment while charming audiences with a captivating voice and heartfelt performances.
